Montevideo expands to 12 clinics available for ASSE users under an agreement with the National Drug Board

The Montevideo City Hall and the National Drug Board signed an agreement this Tuesday to expand care for users of the State Health Services Administration at municipal clinics, according to Caras y Caretas Uruguay.
According to that outlet, as of November 1 the number of city-run clinics authorized to provide this care will rise from six to 12. In addition to those already operating in Barrio Sur, La Paloma, Casavalle, Los Ángeles, Buceo and Parque Bellán, centers located in Peñarol, Punta de Rieles, Colón, Malvín Norte, La Comercial and Maroñas will be added.
The agreement also provides for coordination between the city government and the National Drug Network on infrastructure and territorial support. In that framework, the City Hall will cover maintenance, cleaning and gardening costs at three network facilities in Montevideo: Ciudadela Montevideo in Tres Cruces, Achique Casavalle and the Lindolfo center in Ciudad Vieja, Caras y Caretas Uruguay reported.
According to the publication, the agreement also includes prevention measures and educational tools.
