The PP again asks the Senate for appearances by Marlaska, Robles and Albares over the Ceuta crisis
The opposition party filed new requests for the three ministers to give explanations in their respective committees. The summons comes after their absences in August and amid the dispute over whether they should report to the Upper House or the Congress.
The PP again pushed in the Senate for the appearances of Fernando Grande-Marlaska, Margarita Robles and José Manuel Albares so they can explain the Government’s actions in Ceuta, according to ABC España and eldiario.es. The summons were proposed for the Interior, Defense and Foreign Affairs committees.
According to both outlets, the three ministers had already been summoned in August, in the context of the crisis in the autonomous city, but did not attend those sessions.
