Rubén Ramírez Lezcano Held Meetings with Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Hungary, and Singapore in New York

Paraguayan Foreign Minister Rubén Ramírez Lezcano held a series of bilateral meetings in New York with authorities from the United Arab Emirates, Hungary and Singapore, as part of his work agenda at the United Nations, La Nación Paraguay reported.
According to that outlet, the first meeting was with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. At the meeting, they reviewed the agenda between the two countries and analyzed ways to expand cooperation, in addition to highlighting the bilateral relationship and the progress achieved in different areas.
Later, Ramírez Lezcano met with Hungary’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Anita Orbán, at the headquarters of Paraguay’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations. According to La Nación Paraguay, they agreed on the need to increase meetings between the private sectors of both countries to explore new opportunities and expand trade.
At that meeting, they also agreed to hold the second round of Political Consultations soon in Asunción, with the aim of defining a roadmap to strengthen the bilateral agenda.
The day also included a meeting with Singapore’s Foreign Minister, Vivian Balakrishnan. There they addressed issues of common interest and agreed to continue deepening ties between Paraguay and Singapore, as well as to explore new opportunities to expand trade and economic relations, always according to La Nación Paraguay.
