PRO and La Libertad Avanza fail to move toward an electoral agreement for 2027

The fourth meeting between leaders of PRO and La Libertad Avanza once again showed that the electoral talks ahead of 2027 are still making no meaningful progress. Upon leaving Casa Rosada, deputies Cristian Ritondo and Fernando De Andreis, who attended as representatives of Mauricio Macri, said they were still far from an understanding.
On the government side, Diego Santilli and Eduardo “Lule” Menem took part, while there were conflicting reports in the media about Martín Menem’s presence: La Nación reported that he was absent with notice, while Clarín listed him among those attending.
