The president of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, led the awarding of 43 licenses for Marca País Paraguay, with 34 new incorporations and 9 renewals, in a ceremony held in the Tirika Hall of Mburuvicha Róga, according to MITIC Paraguay.

According to the agency, the event was also attended by the minister of MITIC, Gustavo Villate, the deputy minister of Communication, Alejandra Duarte Albospino, as well as national authorities and representatives of international organizations and the productive sector.

MITIC Paraguay said that Marca País Paraguay is a strategy coordinated between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies to promote a “coherent, modern and competitive” image of the country. The initiative aims to give visibility to Paraguayan products, services, companies and talent in international markets, along with tourism promotion actions, investment attraction and institutional projection.

The new licenses were granted to companies, ventures and projects in sectors such as food, beverages, technology, energy, tourism, industry, design, services and the creative economy, always according to official information.

The official outlet added that the network of licensees supports the promotion of Paraguay at fairs, trade missions, business meetings and other strategic events. It also linked that projection to future events such as the World Skate Games ASU2026, the 2030 FIFA World Cup and the 2031 Pan American Games.

During the event, the panel “Two companies, two stories, one country” was also held, with the participation of private-sector representatives, and the launch of the 2026 Ibero-American Country Brand Forum was announced.
