Goiás gubernatorial candidates carried out campaign activities in the interior and the Brasília metropolitan area

The candidates for governor of Goiás carried out campaign activities this Friday in different parts of the state, with trips through the interior and events in the Federal District metropolitan area, according to G1 Globo.
Daniel Vilela, of the MDB, visited Pirenópolis, Ipameri and Catalão. According to G1 Globo, during a caravan through the historic center of Pirenópolis he promised incentives for tourist cities in Goiás, with the opening of credit lines for the sector and investments in road duplication and energy infrastructure.
Luis César Bueno, of the PT, took part in a question-and-answer session in the morning at the headquarters of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seção Goiás. There he defended respect for lawyers’ prerogatives in public service and proposed measures to speed up the payment of precatórios, G1 Globo reported.
Marconi Perillo, of the PSDB, held campaign events in Cidade Ocidental and Luziânia. According to that outlet, in caravans through both cities he said improving public transportation in the region must be a priority and proposed subsidies for bus fares, fleet renewal and studies to make a BRT or a metro viable.
