Keiko Fujimori reported that she received an invitation from the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, to make an official visit to that country toward the end of October, according to El Comercio.
According to that outlet, the president announced the news during a live broadcast on her social media accounts, in which Foreign Minister Carlos Espá took part. There, she said they could not yet provide further details, although she indicated that the trip would be at the end of the month.

The foreign minister added, according to that newspaper, that the trip’s agenda is already being worked on by both countries and will be made public once it is finalized. He also mentioned that the visit would be on October 29, if it goes ahead as planned.
