Junts Questions Whether the New Funding Will Cover Illa’s Education Plan

The secretary general of Junts, Jordi Turull, cast doubt on whether the newly approved funding scheme will be enough to sustain the 6% of GDP investment in Education proposed by Generalitat president Salvador Illa. According to La Vanguardia, the party leader said the 4.5 billion euros in additional funds planned for Catalunya would not be sufficient if other needs, such as healthcare, also have to be covered.
