Dani Mujica Proposed Dionisio Borda as Pro Bono Economic Adviser in Ciudad del Este

The mayoral candidate in Ciudad del Este, Dani Mujica, invited economist and former finance minister Dionisio Borda to join the Municipality as a pro bono economic adviser, according to Última Hora.
The proposal was made during the forum Ciudad del Este: Between Economic Growth and Sustainable Development, held on Friday, in a meeting that brought together figures from economics, politics, the social sciences, sustainable development and the business sector.
According to Última Hora, Mujica highlighted Borda’s career and his contribution to the construction of Paraguay’s macroeconomic model. He also said that his experience, vision and analytical capacity would be important support to bolster the development of Ciudad del Este.
For his part, Borda said he considers it an honor to accompany Mujica and stated that he values the work carried out in the city. He also said that Ciudad del Este can become a reference for other municipalities in the country and expressed his willingness to help project those experiences to other parts of Paraguay, Última Hora reported.
Also taking part in the event were Víctor Raúl Benítez, Jorge Querey, José Carlos Rodríguez, Gustavo Candia and José Pepe Emategui.
