Paraguayan authorities toured an automaker plant in South Korea to review e-mobility experience
Deputy Industry Minister Javier Viveros visited the KGM factory during a business agenda in the Republic of Korea. According to Paraguay's Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the aim was to review production processes and capabilities linked to electric mobility.
During a business visit to the Republic of Korea, Paraguay’s Deputy Minister of Industry, Javier Viveros, toured the KGM plant, one of the country’s automakers, to learn about its finished-vehicle production systems and its experience in the development of e-mobility, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce reported.
According to the ministry, the executive secretary of the National System for Labor Training and Capacity Building, Alfredo Mongelós, also took part in the activity. The visit made it possible to learn about production models, industrial promotion policies and background related to the incorporation of electric mobility.
According to the ministry, Viveros said the experience can serve as a reference for the development of new capabilities in Paraguay. He also raised the importance of maintaining ties with the Korean automotive industry and expressed his expectation that KGM will continue supporting the process of developing e-mobility in the country.
The agenda in Korea, always according to the official information, is part of a search for opportunities for cooperation in industrial development, knowledge transfer and human capital training, with the goal of strengthening national capabilities in the face of new technological challenges.
