Alliana and Cartes will meet after the dispute over the vice presidential candidacy
The vice president and Honor Colorado presidential hopeful will hold a meeting with Horacio Cartes amid internal differences over the makeup of the 2028 ticket.
Pedro Alliana and Horacio Cartes are scheduled to meet this Wednesday at the former president’s residence, according to Senator Antonio “Tony” Barrios, who confirmed it to ABC Color.
The meeting comes after Cartes publicly presented the Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Habitat, Juan Carlos Baruja, as his choice for the vice presidential pre-candidacy for Honor Colorado.
