Albares said Morocco promised measures to prevent a new irregular entry into Ceuta

Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, said he had been in contact with his Moroccan counterpart, Naser Burita, and that Rabat told him it would adopt the necessary measures to prevent a new irregular entry into Ceuta in light of calls circulating on social media for September 23.
According to La Vanguardia, Albares made those remarks in New York, where he is taking part in the UN General Assembly. There he said both governments are in contact over the situation at the border and that this week he expects to meet with Burita to discuss, among other issues, the return of migrants who remain in Ceuta after the mass entry on July 30.
