An Ati Snead poll published by La Nacion Paraguay places Ariel Ojeda ahead in the voting intention for mayor of Fernando de la Mora with 42.7%, ahead of Liberal Luis Fernando Franco, who registers 34.6%.

According to that survey, Maria Estela Invernizzi appears in third place with 7.2%. In addition, 8.1% said they do not know or did not answer, while 7.5% said they will not vote for anyone.

Still according to what was published by La Nacion Paraguay, the poll was conducted from September 15 to 17 among 500 people registered in the electoral roll, aged 18 or older.

When referring to those numbers on the program “Arriba hoy,” Ojeda said the result reflects a demand for change and alternation in the city. He also stated that his group seeks to recover trust in List 1 and that it is working on a renewal proposal for the municipality.

In his remarks, the Colorado Party candidate questioned the current situation in Fernando de la Mora and pointed out that the district is now governed by liberalism. As La Nacion Paraguay recalled, the former mayor is Alcides Riveros, current president of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party.
