The departmental councilman of Alto Paraná Aldo Barrios, from the Yo Creo movement, reacted harshly after suffering a robbery at his home and publicly pointed the finger at Interior Minister Enrique Riera, whom he blamed for the lack of security.

According to Última Hora, Barrios posted messages on his social media accounts in which he described the official as “useless” and “fool.” He also said he would confront him personally when he returns to Ciudad del Este.

He also said that, in the face of this kind of incident, citizens end up resorting to self-defense.
