Portal Paraguay has established itself as the main digital gateway to Paraguayan state services, with an average of more than 500,000 active users per month across its web version and mobile app, according to a report from the Vice Ministry of Technologies released by MITIC Paraguay.

The platform, developed by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, brings together more than 500 online procedures in one place, available around the clock from any device. According to official information, the system seeks to facilitate citizens’ interaction with public institutions and reduce travel, lines and waiting times.

To use the portal, each citizen must have their Electronic Identity, which already exceeds 1.57 million registrations. That mechanism allows access to information, carry out procedures and validate official documents.

In the mobile segment, the Portal Paraguay app, compatible with Android and iOS, has accumulated 887,048 downloads. In August, 154,041 online documents were also processed, in a monthly average that, according to the report, exceeds 150,000 operations.

Among the most in-demand procedures are the police record certificate, with 27.5% of the total; the certificate of being or not being a public servant, with 13.7%; and judicial records, with 9.5%. Also included are course certificates, ID data inquiries, insured salary certificate, insured status certificate and vaccination booklet certificate.
