According to ElDiarioAR, the testimony will take place with the involvement of Bolivian judicial authorities because of Beller’s health condition and for security reasons, following the gun attack she suffered on August 17. According to ElDiarioAR, the consultant denied taking part in the incident.
The summons came after lawmaker Marcela Pagano demanded that Beller be called urgently because of her public statements and the recordings she said she had. Both ElDiarioAR and Ámbito recalled that she had already been called to testify on August 26 in another case linked to an alleged illicit enrichment scheme involving Cerimedo, but that hearing was suspended after she asked to be included in a witness protection program.
ElDiarioAR added that Cerimedo had already testified in September 2025 before Picardi and said then that Spagnuolo had told him about a supposed kickback scheme in ANDIS medicine purchases. According to that testimony, he would also have brought that situation to President Javier Milei’s attention.
