Javier Milei is scheduled to arrive this Friday in Bahía Blanca with Diego Santilli, in what, according to Ámbito, will be his first campaign activity in the province of Buenos Aires. The visit will take place in an inland district of Buenos Aires province, far from the metropolitan area, in a context in which La Libertad Avanza is seeking to establish itself in the country’s main electoral register.

According to that outlet, the choice of Bahía Blanca is also linked to the concentration of projects associated with the Incentive Regime for Large Investments. Among them, it mentions initiatives by Pampa Energía, Mega and Transportadora Gas del Sur in that area.

Ámbito noted that this will be Milei’s third visit to Bahía Blanca. The previous two took place after the December 2023 storm and the March 2025 flood.

After that activity, the President will again chair a Cabinet meeting on Monday at Casa Rosada, with the parliamentary agenda as its focus. According to Ámbito, the Government is working on a bill on the Malvinas issue that plans to toughen sanctions for companies operating in the archipelago’s waters and expand its scope to other sectors.

The initiative would also include the creation of a National Security Council with the participation of different areas of the Government. Later, Milei will receive the blocs of deputies and senators from La Libertad Avanza for a presentation centered on the 2027 Budget, which must be sent to the Chamber of Deputies.

Still according to Ámbito, the ruling party is reaching the final stretch of the ordinary session period with a list of pending bills, including cold zones, electoral reform, Inocencia Fiscal II, changes to the Central Bank’s organic charter, the so-called super RIGI, the Malvinas initiative and the 2027 Budget.
