Colorado dissidence reaffirmed its support for Camilo Pérez for the Asunción mayoralty

Camilo Pérez, candidate for mayor of Asunción for the National Republican Association, received a new ratification of support this Monday from the Colorado dissidence, as part of the campaign ahead of the general municipal elections on October 4.
According to La Nación Paraguay, the meeting with the grassroots of the Colorado Añetete movement was held in Section 39 and was attended by members of the Capital Command, led by Pérez’s campaign chief and president of the Chamber of Deputies, Raúl Latorre.
Speaking to the media, Pérez said that party unity “is not just for the photo” and stated that he senses enthusiasm among citizens at the possibility of change in Asunción. He also argued that transforming the city will require changing the mindset of both residents and those who are part of the Municipality.
