Kicillof presents the MDF’s national projection in Avellaneda amid tensions with La Cámpora

Axel Kicillof will lead an event this Saturday in Avellaneda to launch the federal projection of the Movimiento Derecho al Futuro, in a new chapter of the internal dispute he maintains with La Cámpora and Máximo Kirchner, according to La Nación and Perfil.
The event will take place at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in Villa Domínico and aims to bring together Peronist leaders and activists from different parts of the country. On his social media, Kicillof called for mobilization with a message in which he raised the need to promote a federal project and said there is “another path” for Argentina.
According to both outlets, the event comes after the clash that exposed the rift between the MDF and La Cámpora during the march marking the 50th anniversary of the Night of the Pencils in La Plata. There, student groups linked to Kirchnerism again demanded the leadership of Cristina Kirchner, while the governor stood in the back rows.
La Nación and Perfil also noted that La Cámpora had denounced in the days prior an unequal distribution of buses for the mobilizations. In that context, Andrés Larroque said Kicillof’s space seeks to build a political force that would place a limit on “this nightmare that Milei represents.”
According to the two outlets, delegations from the interior of the country are expected, including representatives from Córdoba, Misiones, Chaco and Entre Ríos. More than 40 Buenos Aires province mayors aligned with the MDF will also take part, including Jorge Ferraresi, Julio Alak, Fernando Espinoza, Mario Secco, Fernando Moreira and Andrés Watson.
Before Kicillof’s closing remarks, there will be a plenary session with about 8,000 registered participants to debate science, universities, employment, labor, education, public works, culture, sports and housing, according to La Nación and Perfil.
