Investigate Alleged Fuel Irregularities at Asunción’s Directorate of Roads

Prosecutor Silvia González Vester, of the Specialized Unit for Economic Crimes and Anti-Corruption, led an intervention at the premises of the Directorate of Roads of the Municipality of Asunción in connection with an open case amid suspicions of diversion and irregular use of fuel.
According to ABC Color, during the inspection the team sought to verify the condition of the truck fleet and heavy machinery, as well as to review the fuel loading and supply system.
