29 Fonavis homes delivered to Acahay families with an investment of more than G. 3,005 million

A total of 29 homes were delivered this Thursday in Acahay, department of Paraguarí, to families from the Nuevo Horizonte Commission, as part of works carried out through the National Social Housing Fund. According to La Nación Paraguay, the investment exceeded G. 3,005 million.
The handover was led by President Santiago Peña, together with First Lady Leticia Ocampos, the Minister of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat, Juan Carlos Baruja, as well as national and local authorities.
During the event, Peña said that behind each home there were years of efforts, work and waiting by the beneficiary families. He also stated that the delivery is part of a housing policy that seeks to extend its reach to other parts of the country and promised to move forward with more projects in Paraguarí.
According to La Nación Paraguay, the execution of the Nuevo Horizonte project also generated economic activity in the area through the hiring of labor and the participation of sectors linked to construction.
With these 29 homes inaugurated in Acahay, the current housing policy reaches 46,140 solutions managed nationwide, of which 33,903 have already been delivered, always according to the data reported by La Nación Paraguay.
