Enrique Cresto Positions Himself for Entre Ríos Electoral Debate in 2027

Provincial lawmaker and former Concordia mayor Enrique Cresto has begun outlining his political projection toward 2027, working with technical teams to develop a proposal for Entre Ríos and with the intention of taking part in the debate over the Governorship, according to Diario El Heraldo.
In that context, Cresto questioned the national government’s celebration of the monthly drop in inflation and said, according to that outlet, that the slowdown in prices does not by itself mean an improvement in daily life. He linked that situation to a deep recession and said the loss of purchasing power was around 40% after the initial devaluation and accumulated inflation.

At the provincial level, he accused the administration of Rogelio Frigerio of allocating resources and assistance using political criteria, favoring municipalities governed by the ruling party over opposition ones. Diario El Heraldo added that Cresto called for reviewing the hiring of the Buenos Aires-based company Teknofood for the supply of school meals.
